Nestle has been a client of mine for over a decade and this year I had the privilege to entertain at their event at Meridian Arts Center North York. The highlight was their CEOs getting on stage and combining their minds somehow knowing a pre chosen word of a book of 1000s. Another randomly selected guest choose a famous persons name and it was pre determined in advance in a sealed envelope. Mysterion is the perfect choice for your corporate event having more diversity in experience and skill as well as creating custom effects for your brand.
Canada Sends Something Strange to Burbank’s CIA – LA Weekly
Canadian TV stars and world-class mentalist duo The Sentimentalists (Chris Mysterion and Steffi Kay) brought their acclaimed magic/sideshow/burlesque show Something Strange to the CIA in Burbank. The sold-out show featured amazing performers from both Canada and USA.
Burlesque legend Mosh brought down the house with her fan dance, while Kali Von Wunderkammer, creator of The Southern Sideshow Hootenanny, did two burlesque sets — one with a bed of nails and the other on a stage of broken glass. Cecil the Sad Clown, winner of “Master of Comedy” in the 2016 Burlypicks Nationals and breakout contestant on America’s Got Talent, drew a chicken out of his (ahem) pants. Rounding out the burlesque performers was Canadian superstar Paige Turner (known as the Painted Lady, Paige is Canada’s most tattooed burlesque performer).
On the magic front, The Sentimentalists did three sets, each one crazy cool. I honestly could not even begin to guess how they do the things they do. Canadian magicians were the only magicians in the house on Saturday night, with Chris Turchi (CHRYSTERIOUS) doing some light ball play and Brandon David reading minds and throwing cards.
Something Strange is a monthly show in Canada, and we can only hope that here in again and again.

Did you know that Mysterion and Steffi Kay, The Sentimentalists appeared on Season 5 of the hit show Penn and Teller FOOL US. The stage was set and the audience were all asked to draw an image of anything. The images were gathered and dropped into a money machine. Mysterion, blindfolded, got inside and the machine was turned on. What happened next was a miracle when Steffi Kay… How about I stop talking and you can watch it yourself.

Did you know I own a private museum similar to Ripley’s Believe it or not? Come take a peek behind the curtain in this Toronto Star article featuring myself and Steffi Kay.
Mysterion, a prominent figure known for his mentalism show and high-end vintage toy collection, was featured twice in Taddle Creek, a literary magazine based in Toronto, Ontario, Canada. Mysterion’s contributions to the magazine showcased his talent and passion in both the realms of performance art and pop culture memorabilia. This recognition highlights his distinct presence within the publication’s diverse mix of fiction, nonfiction, and visual art.
Sleight of Mind – Taddle Creek (taddlecreekmag.com)
Back in 2006 I was the feature in the Entertainment section of The Toronto Star newspaper. I remember the night this came out I was performing at a Toronto venue Lee’s Palace and the place was packed with people who came to see me after reading the article. Later that week I sold out The Gladstone Ballroom and knew things were about to get BIG!!
